Flying here in So. Cal. Nice plane. Ive done most of these mods and some. The 480 brushless was insanely fast it finnally was over come by wads of tape, carbon strips, stints, magnets, painting experiments, Spent a week on top a 100' treet not least the power line that would not get out of the way. Ahh yes she exploded in a puff of colored foam. Gives me a reason to build a new one with all the best ideas. think Im gonna back off on the 480, maybe brushless 400. who know's. Great learner for me and Ive hooked up friends on it.

I used the carbon-stick in the tail
Added wheels and placed a brushless typhoon 6/15.

Superbe site avec des tonnes d'idées fabuleuses. Je redécouvre mon easy star avec qui j'ai appris a piloter (il m'aura fallu 2 fuselages mais les voilures sont d'origine !!)
Quelle sera la prochaine modif ? trois axe, Photo numérique, roues ? C'est génial car me voila relancé a fond avec my old buddy : EZ from 24

I bought if for her to fly she is still on a training cord
I fly the shi& out of this plane
even stock I have flown this plane inverted. I am waiting for it to go on sale again so i can get my own put a brushless in it and a lipo battery
easy is a great name for this plane
I fly at the Fallbrookflyers club in bonsall calif. great bunch of guys

Hab mal ein Easystar Forum eingerichtet, wir sind 5 Leute aus Kärnten/Österreich, die seit letztem Sommer Easystar fliegen und sonst noch null Flugerfahrung haben.
Die Homepage davor kommt erst, das Forum läuft aber schonmal. Mal sehen wie es angenommen wird...

I have been researching (on the web) for a few days and everywhere I go the Easy Star gets the double thumbs up in terms of first time flyers. I was into freeflight when I was a child and have always been interested in RC. I have not been able to do any modeling for over 35 years and am anxious to get back into it. Electric has come a long way and is much more appealing to me then gas at this jecture. I am hoping this site will answer many of the questions that I will surely have once I get back into the swing of things. I will have to train myself and, based on what I have read on line, the EZStar RTF with it's flight friendly attitude and Elapor foam seems the way I will end up going. Wish me luck.

die beste seite die es für den easystar gibt! wollte mir nie einen easystar kaufen, da er mir auch (anfangs) nicht gefiel. nach durchsicht all der schlauen modifikationen hier auf dieser tollen seite musste ich dann doch einen haben, jedoch mit brushless motor, grösseren seitenruder (absolut wichtig!) und einer 7x4" luftschraube mit riskant ausgesparten rumpf.
als dank schenkt er mir mit einem 100g LiPo mit 1200mAh nicht nur 12 minuten motorlaufzeit sondern auch 70° steigflug, fast senkrecht!

hallo!!!ich überlege ob ich mir den EasyStar wünschen soll , weil mein modell händler ihn mir empfohlen hat !!!ich interessiere mich für die modellfliegerei und nun wollte ich wissen ob der EasyStar auch gut ist oder ein anderes flugzeug ???

Love my Easy Star. Current Mods done are Ailerons, Multiplex Permax BL-480-6D motor with Castle 35 Speed control, Master Airscrew 6x4 3 Blade Prop. and Li poly 3 cell 4000mah Battery. Flys Great and Forever on a charge.

From my name you can see I love flying slow and easy. The Easy is the perfect plane for me although I have other Multiplex models. This is the plane I intend to teach my five year old grandson to fly. He is on the simulator now.
