Hi @ all
Ich stehe kurz davor mir den easy Star auf der Modellbaumesse in Sinsheim zu kaufen habe mir allerdings so ein parr tolle Videos auf der Seite heruntergeladen. Ich bin noch total Abfänger bin also noch nie so richtig geflogen. Ist der Easy Star nich ein wenig zu schnell für einen Anfänger?

My wife surprized me with an EasyStar for Christmas. I've joined a local RC club and an instructor is teaching me how to fly. The plane is wonderful but I'm learning and I've crashed it a few times. The other day we had to use a long pole to get it out of a tree. It's got a few dings in it but it's still going strong. Ramer, Alabama

Hi to all,

I'm also the proud owner of an EZ-star and wish to thank the group for all the good advices.
For the moment it's raining here. But the first time the conditions are good, I'm starting the new EZ on our club. I hardly can wait untill then, hearing all those good comments about the flying-caracters of this plane. I bought the plane only a few weeks ago after 4 years of not-flying. Reason: My two little sons are now old enough to fly themselves and that pushed me to start again. Only now with electro-planes. I used to fly with Nitro engines but when I see now how easy it is and clean to fly electro-planes I can only encourage everybody to fly electro. Better for the environment, no noise, and enough power and endurance.
Keep up the good works guys. Later I will put on some pictures and comments of my "new first flying experionses"

Hi everybody! I am new EasyStar user, still in the construction phase and I am looking forward starting to fly. Keep up the good work with this website.. it's amazing to see how many people love this plane all around the world and being able to get in contact with them. Ciao, alby

Der EasyStar ist mit Abstand der beste Flieger den ich je geflogen habe. Bis jetzt hat er schon 12 Flüge von 25 bis 35 Minuten hinter sich. Er ist auch hervorragend geeignet um Aufwinde zu nutzen. Bin bisher nur im Winter geflogen. Aber schon schwache Aufwinde in der Fischbecker Heide ließen den EasyStar in die Höhe steigen. Bin sehr positiv von der starken Leistung des Standardantriebs überrascht. Kann den Flieger nur weiterempfehlen. Es gibt doch nichts schöneres als mit den Vögeln bei schönem Wetter die Aufwinde zu suchen. Also, Holm und Rippenbruch

I have just ordered my second EasyStar. The first one isn't quite built yet. I've been reading the threads & selecting the (good) advice that I want to follow. I have painted my ES* with acrylic craft paint...my university colours were blue & gold (usually printed as yellow) so I left the blue parts blue and brushed the white parts "bright yellow", then applied a coat of waterbased polyurethane 'clear' varnish to protect the paint. I'm GOOPing the motor into the left side of its pod and joining the fuselage halves with doublesided cloth carpet tape so that I can get it apart readily for repairs. I ordered a spare battery. I removed the stock motor plug and installed Speed 400 connectors same as my Wingo which also came from Hobby Lobby. By the way, the Wingo prop & the EasyStar prop are identical part no., diameter, & pitch. I'm going to add an axle tube thru the lower fuse just forward of the C of G and put on some 2" to 2-1/2" thin-profile wheels...our MAAC-sanctioned "all-electric" field is still a bit rough sod but I wish to learn to ROG.

I am really looking forward to the 2006 flying season...but its really cold & windy in Toronto, Canada, right now !!!

EasyStar is a cute litlle flyer - I like it very much! In fact, I have to buy a new one - it flew away!
