Canopy:
In order to not damage the original canopy, you should buy a 80mm polystyrene plate in your hobby shop and recut the canopy with a sharp knife once again. Now the difficult part. Cutting the camera mounting into your new canopy. Take some pictures with the camera in the virtual camera position to check how oblique the camera has to be mounted so there ain’t too much wing tip in the pictures. Afterwards hold the camera above the canopy and draw the outline of the camera with a fine felt-tip to the canopy. Now start to adapt the canopy to the camera.
Camera:
The camera is put into a heat shrink sleeve. Also the servo is packed up into a heat shrink sleeve. That has the advantage that you can glue the servo comfortably on the camera with Epoxy. Make sure that the servo arm can push the camera trigger without a problem. In order to protect the camera trigger, I pulled an affixture rubber around the servo arm and secure it with glue.
R/C:
You best set the servo function to the aileron channel. So you can completely comfortably take pictures during flight. In order to prevent fumbling before take off, take a servo cable extension to connect receiver and servo.
